Since 2007, Paddy has played on the Ireland National team, recently captaining the field team to a silver medal at the European Championships 2012, leading the midfield in scoring and being selected as a 2nd Team All-European. He has also played transition in two World Indoor Lacrosse Championships (2007 and 2011) and midfield at the World Championships in Manchester 2010. In July 2014, Paddy will play in the World Championships in Denver.

Before moving to the Bay Area and joining ADVNC, Paddy was instrumental in developing and managing the Irish Lacrosse League (men's and women's) since 2009 as a member on the Ireland Lacrosse board. He has also coached teams and run camps at a university level in Ireland and at a middle school level in Philadelphia & New Jersey. He was one of the first qualified level 2 coaches in Ireland.
