Mikie Schlosser (Tahoe Region Director)

Coach Schlosser’s spectacular high school career at Davis Senior High School propelled him onto Ann Arbor. While at The University of Michigan Coach Schlosser continued where he left off, becoming UM’s first underclassmen captain. We are lucky to have Mikie as a part of the Sacramento Program in addition to his duties as the Director for the Tahoe Region.

Achievements:

  • Ranked No. 75 Rising Freshman in the country

  • Davis Senior High School Captain (2011-2013)

  • 2nd Team All-League (2010)

  • First Team All-League (2011-2013)

  • High School All American (2012, 2013)

  • Co-MVP of the Bayshore Athletic League (2012)

  • ECAC All Rookie Team (2014)

  • University of Michigan Team Captain (2016, 2017)

  • Member of the 2018 MLL Champion:  Denver Outlaws

 

Matt Day (Co-Director: Tahoe Region)

This is Coach Day's 1st year as the Tahoe Region's Co-Director.  Day is in his 2nd season as Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at Sierra Nevada College in South Lake Tahoe.  He previously served as the team's defensive coordinator and assistant coach for 2 seasons.  Coach Day began his coaching career at Freedom High School, where he served for four years as the Defensive Coordinator.

Matt originally hails from Washington D.C.  He was a standout lacrosse star for Lake Braddock High School, earning All-Region Honors.  Day went on to play college lacrosse at George Mason University.
