Brent Ringwood (East Bay Director) 


Coach Ringwood brings a wealth of experience to the field and boasts an extensive and impressive lacrosse resume:

- Head Coach of Acalanes High School From 2007-2018

- Overall record of 191-68 as a Varsity Head Coach

- 2014 US Lacrosse California San Francisco Coach of the Year

- 1 NCS Championship

- 4 NCS Runner Up

- 10 Consecutive NCS Playoff Appearances

- 7 League Titles

- Coached 5 All Americans

He is a Miramonte High School graduate and played collegiately at MCLA Nathional Champion UC Santa Barbara under Hall of Fame coaches Mike Allan and Scott Demonte. In addition to being a tremendous on field coach and director, Coach Ringwood has been pivotal in developing players from youth through high school. 

He lives in Oakland with his wife and is an East Bay Native. 


Joe Rabinowitz

A Berkeley High graduate, Coach Rabinowitz continued his career playing at the University of Arizona. He is currently the Head Coach at Monte Vista High School.

Byron McGovern

Originally from Northern California, Coach McGovern excelled at Berkeley High School before going on to play at UC Santa Cruz. He is currently the Head Coach at Miramonte High School and 2018 NCS Coach of the Year.

Originally from Berkeley, Coach Hill graduated from Berkeley High in 2002. He is currently the Head Coach at Oakland Technical High School.

Brian Raaka

Originally from Orinda, CA, Coach Raaka graduated from Miramonte High School in 2011. He went on to play at Dominican University, captaining the team his Junior and Senior years.

Deryck Wade

Originally from Brooklyn, NY Coach Wade currently resides in Alameda. He is an active participant in the youth lacrosse and has ample experience coaching youth lacrosse. Deryck is currently coaching with the Alameda Attack.

Ethan Baum

A Berkeley High School graduate, Coach Baum went to excel as a Member of the UC Berkeley team. He is currently a Social Studies Teacher and Coach at Oakland Tech.

Riley Westover

A current Diablo Valley College team member, Coach Westover graduated from Berkeley High School in 2015. We are excited to have Riley helping out with our 2021 Squad.
