Tom Barnds

Tom Barnds is a Managing Director at and founding Partner of Accel-KKR, a private equity firm that manages $4.0 billion in assets focused on the software industry. Prior to joining Accel-KKR in 2000, Tom was a Managing Director at Nassau Capital, a private equity firm engaged in investing $2.5 billion of Princeton University's endowment.

Tom played lacrosse for Bill Tierney at Princeton University, graduating in 1990.  At Princeton Tom was an All-American and All-Ivy Defenseman.  He was also a captain of the team and selected to and played in the North South All Star game.  He was also the lone Academic All American in Division I lacrosse in 1990. Tom is currently active coaching youth lacrosse, and is involved with the ADVNC and Firehawks youth programs.Tom is also a member of the Leadership Council for the Positive Coaching Alliance, an organization that promotes better people and better athletes through providing resources for youth and high school sports coaches, parents, administrators and student-athletes.

Tom received his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and his A.B. from Princeton University.

Drew McKnight

Drew grew up in Virginia playing for hall of fame lacrosse coach Tom Duquette, and went on to play at The University of Virginia, where he also received a B.A in Economics. While at UVA, Drew was a 2X Team Captain, National Champion in 1999, and All American.

Drew is a managing director at Fortress Investment Group, serving on the investment committee for the Credit Funds and is responsible for trading with an emphasis on corporate distressed loan and bond opportunities at Fortress Investment Group LLC. Drew is also a member of the Management Committee of Fortress.

John Underwood

John is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and has over 20 years of investment experience. He advises a select number of senior executives, family offices, foundations and endowments. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, John was a high yield fixed income analyst covering multiple sectors. 

He is a National Trustee for the Boys and Girls Club of America (Pacific Region) and a Trustee of the United States Ski and Snowboard Foundation. He also serves on the Board of Visitors of the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University and the Advisory Board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation (Greater Bay Area). Formerly, he was a founding member of the Global Institute of Sustainability Board of Trustees, the United States Lacrosse Foundation, Larkin Street Youth Services and the Squaw Valley Corporation. John is a member of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of San Francisco. 

He received an M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University and a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Marquette University.

Todd Crockett

Todd is a managing director at TA Associates focussing on Investments in Financial and Business companies. He received a BA in Politics from Princeton, and an MBA from Harvard. Todd is a board member of US Lacrosse, and lives in Menlo Park, CA.
